At The Kiddie Daycare, our mission is to provide exceptional care in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment. Our dedicated staff is certified in CPR, First Aid, communicable disease prevention, and child abuse awareness to ensure your child's well-being at all times.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to encourage your child’s
mental, physical, and social growth, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and strong foundations for lifelong learning.
HOURS:
Our school is open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
AGES:
Children 6 weeks to 8 years of age can be enrolled.
RATIOS:
Infants – Ages 6 weeks to 12 months – 4:1
Infants – Ages 12 months to 18 months – 5:1
Toddlers – Ages 18 months to 2 years – 6:1
Toddlers – Ages 2 years to 3 years – 8:1
Preschool – Ages 3 years to 4 years – 12:1
Preschool – Ages 4 years to 5 years – 14:1
School Age – Ages 5 years to 8 years – 18:1
ENROLLMENT:
Applications are available at our school office. To complete enrollment, a physician’s record and an emergency transportation authorization form—both included in the application packet—must be submitted and kept on file before your child can attend Kiddie Childcare & Preschool.
We are fully licensed to care for infants through school-age children, offering age-appropriate programs that support growth at every stage of development.
Kiddie Childcare & Preschool maintains a firm commitment to inclusivity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in the enrollment of students.
MEALS:
We provide a well-balanced, nutritious snack every day at no extra charge. Snacks are designed to support your child’s energy and development throughout the day.
From Monday through Friday, parents are asked to provide a packed lunch for their child. Lunches should include items from all four basic food groups and must be filled with an ice pack to keep food fresh and safe.
For toddlers, we recommend sending a spill-proof sippy cup to help minimize messes and encourage independence. All lunches should be packed in a child-sized lunchbox, and for safety reasons, glass containers are not permitted.
TOILET:
Kiddie Childcare & Preschool will assist parents with the toilet training of their child, beginning at age 2.
TRAINING POLICY:
No derogatory remarks or negative comments will be made at the time of training. Children will be toilet-trained on half-hour intervals, or as needed. No child will be left unattended while toilet training. Children will be given praise when an act is attempted or accomplished, along with a reward sticker for the accomplishment. All staff will wash their hands before and after. The toilet will be disinfected after each use.
NOTE:
Each child will be required to bring a small bag with his or her initials placed on the bag, two changes of clothing, a small travel-size pillow, and a blanket to use at nap time.
